Terell brings his own personal experiences to Veteran services. As a service-disabled United States Marine (OEF/OIF), he has experienced first-hand the difficulties of adapting to civilian life following military service.  Terell has overcome limitations to complete a BBA in Real Estate from Georgia State University and an MBA in Finance from Mercer University. Terell was deployed to the Persian Gulf in 2008 and honorably separated from active-duty service in 2010. While deployed, Terell sustained disabilities that led to his designation as a service-disabled Veteran with a service-connected disability rating awarded by the Veterans Administration.
